China said it would increase the additional customs tariffs on American goods to at least 125 percent, in the last up to a trade war between the world’s largest economists.

The Chinese Ministry of Finance said that the increase in the current additional levels of 84 percent will become valid as of April 12.

This comes after signs of disturbances on the shipping of the Pacific Ocean amid the rising fees between the two sides last week.

The Ministry of Finance added that it will not coincide with more American tariffs on Chinese exports, “given that at the level of the current tariff, there is no acceptance in the market for American goods exported to China.”

She said: “The United States’s imposition of high definitions abnormally on China is seriously violating international economic and commercial rules, basic economic laws and a healthy sense, which is just a unilateral coercion and coercion.”
