Why was Charlotte Tilbury Beauty sued?

Charlotte Tilbury was initially subject to a class action lawsuit in Cook County, Illinois in April 2023, with complaints centered on several virtual try-on tools offered by the company, including but not limited to Charlotte’s Virtual Try-On, Professional Skin Analysis, and Foundation Shade. Who is eligible for this class action settlement?

This settlement is open to anyone who was an Illinois resident and used one of Charlotte Tilbury’s virtual trial tools between December 1, 2019 and August 31, 2023.

Payments from this settlement are estimated to range between $700 and $1,100, depending on how many people sign up.

What is the deadline to settle this class action lawsuit?
