Donald Trump was briefed by Sir Kerr Starmer of the arrest of three people who were called the “terrorists” because of the alleged sabotage at the Turnberry Golf Resort in Scotland.
“I just informed me by Prime Minister Starmer in the United Kingdom, that they had arrested the terrorists who attacked the beautiful turnberry, in Scotland,” Trump He said in fact social on Monday.
Trump, incorrectly, said that the three people who claimed destroying them from his possessions are now “in prison.” He said they had “severe damage” and that he hoped to be treated harshly.
He said: “You cannot let things like this attack happen, and I am very appreciated by Prime Minister Starmer’s work and law enforcement in the United Kingdom.”
The briefing on police investigations represents a possible new tactic from the British Prime Minister as he is seeking, so far, a failure, to persuade Trump not to impose a penalty. Definitions In the UK later this week.
Starmer spoke to Trump on Sunday, and Downing Street said that the two leaders discussed definitions and Ukraine. Number 10 did not reveal, however, any mention of turnberry or alleged sabotage.
On Monday, Kiran Robson, 33, appeared from Galashils at the Scottish border, in a special hearing in the Sharif Air court, where he was charged with harmful charges, according to the Press Association. He was released on bail, waiting for the court to appear.
On Saturday, the protest group, Palestine, said that “Actionist” had been re -imprisoned to the court after his arrest at his home, and called on supporters to gather in the AYR court to demand his release.
The group published on Monday: “For your information, no one in prison for this procedure was released. The person who was charged today was released. The only terrorists here are the ones who commit the genocide.”
Last week, the police said that a 75 -year -old man and a 66 -year -old woman had been arrested regarding the damage and were released while waiting for more investigations.
In the aftermath of the alleged sabotage, the group posted pictures of damage to Turnberry, including the wet red paint on the construction walls and “Gaza is not 4 sale” to green.
After Trump’s social media publication on Monday, Downing Street did not deny the US President’s account of the conversation.
Trump discussed with Starmer the idea of hosting Turnberry to the open championship when the two met at the White House in February.
R & A, the administrative body that runs The Open, the oldest golf championship in the world, said that there are logistical and commercial issues about Turnberry hosting the event.
