Can’t afford to travel to Rome? Build a Trevi Fountain at home

Whether you’re looking for a new addition to your Lego Architecture collection or you’re a fan of all things Rome, you’re in luck: the new announcementLEGO Trevi Fountain (21062) It’s sure to brighten up your desk or shelf.

This replica of the 18th-century Rome landmark comes in 1,880 pieces and measures over 15 inches (38 cm) wide and 10 inches (25 cm) long. The facade of the main building is delicately detailed, with light pink accents adding a nice touch of warmth.

The new minifigures are expressive (even without faces), and the horse-headed hippocampus sculptures look particularly dynamic. The water gives you a sense of real depth, thanks to the multiple layers of translucent bricks.

This isn’t the first time Lego has produced a model of the Trevi Fountain; The 2014 edition includes less than half of the pieces of the new collection. The new one is by far bigger and bolder.
