“Building innovation, not only lifestyle applications”

Ola Bhavish Aggarwal founded his support for the last invitation of the Indian Minister of Trade Pyush Goyal for the goal of the highest and building competitive startups worldwide, and urged the ecosystem to start operating to convert the focus beyond consumer technology applications and life applications.

“I fully agree with the minister’s statement @Piyushgostiaal. Our start -up community needs to take advantage of the reason for building consumer technology companies only,” said AGGARWAL. “Entrepreneurs need thinking and instead of building lifestyle applications, building innovation and future technology.”

Aggarwal’s comments came amid a broader conversation about India’s ambition to move from being the third largest environmental system to start operating in the world to become a real global pioneer in innovation. During her recent conversation with MahakumbH, Joyl called entrepreneurs to the high goal and measured themselves against global standards, noting the need for breakthroughs in areas such as deep technology, artificial intelligence, space, climate technology and manufacturing innovation.

Ensuring that the feelings, Agarwal included some examples of the type of technologies that Indian startups should focus on: “missiles, artificial intelligence medications, EUV machines, new metal refining technology, new materials – a lot to build!”

The Ola founder’s tweet has struck a string with many in the startup community, as India continues to see the largest part of VC financing that flows to consumers-facing platforms-from e-commerce to technology and food delivery-while basic scientific and industrial innovation is still suffering from lack of financing.

Agarwal was itself in the ambitions of deep technology in India through Ola Electric, which builds a large battery and an ecosystem for electric cars. His observations also indicate an increasing recognition that long -term economic leadership will require the construction of rich competitive technologies at the IP level, and not only the consumer dependence on a large scale.

As government support increases sectors such as semiconductors, electrical mobility, AI, and clean energy, entrepreneurs are encouraged to look beyond short -term assessments and long -term construction.
