Britney Spears has ‘various projects’ in the works but is ‘not career focused’

Singer Britney Spears has a few different projects in the works, but now she just wants to focus on what makes her happy!

The “Toxic” singer was under court-ordered conservatorship from February 2008 to November 2021. Now that she’s free and supposedly single, it seems her priority is her own happiness.

Fans who follow the “Crossroads” actress on Instagram know how much effort she puts into her dance videos. A source said Us Weekly She said in May that these videos “amuse her” and she considers them “work.”

A source told the newspaper that Britney is “excited about a lot of different projects” and would like to open a dance studio to teach others how to dance. “This is really her dream and she talks about it a lot,” they said.

However, a second source said Britney just wants to take some time to enjoy her happiness. “Britney lives a very simple life. She’s not focused on her career, she just wants to do things that bring her happiness at the moment,” they said.

Britney began dating former personal trainer Sam Asghari after they met while filming her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. They tied the knot in June 2022, just months after their controversial 13-year conservatorship ended. Unfortunately, the Special Ops: Lioness actor filed for divorce in August 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

The actor recently started dating real estate agent Brooke Irvine. A source told the publication that this is Sam’s first relationship after the divorce and that he is “really happy.” They also noted that Britney “will always be a hopeless romantic” and “would love to have a partner” so she is “looking forward to dating.”

The “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer has had an on-off relationship with her former housekeeper, Paul Richard Soliz, although they haven’t been photographed together since August and may have called it quits for good due to their turbulent history.

Although she lives a modest lifestyle, it seems that she still keeps in touch with her ex-boyfriends, especially Paris Hilton. The second source told the newspaper that Britney “has a few close friends who communicate with her daily,” and one of those friends is Paris Hilton, who has a son, Phoenix, and a daughter, London, with her husband, Carter Reum.

“They text a lot and see each other occasionally. “Britney loves kids, so meeting the kids of Paris was very exciting for her,” the source said, noting that Britney “loves visiting” her friend’s kids.

Other than that, the source revealed that Britney is careful about who she lets get too close to her. “Britney is close with her hairstylist and assistant, but I don’t see her hanging out daily with anyone else,” the first source claimed. “She (can) be everywhere, hot and extremely cold — (she’s either) on top of the world happy or crying because of the paparazzi.”

They added: “Britney is a happy person, but she spends a lot of time alone.”

Britney has two sons with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline: Jayden James and Sean Preston. A source revealed to Us Weekly That Jayden reached out to Britney in November in hopes they could mend their relationship.

“He’s open to repairing the relationship with his mother and seeing where things go. Britney was very excited to hear from him. “(It) means everything to her,” a source claimed.

A third source told the outlet that Jayden plans to go to school in California and is staying with Britney while they look at schools. “They were getting along great,” the source claimed, noting that this also improved her relationship with Sean Preston.

“Britney is convinced they will have a thriving relationship in the near future. “That’s all she ever talks about,” the second source said. “She would love a second chance with them.”

Although Britney has made it clear that she will never reconcile with her father, Jamie Spears, things have been more up and down with her mother, Lynn Spears.

“Things with Lynn have been difficult (recently), but Britney wants to improve (their relationship),” a source told the publication, noting that Britney is always worried about the holiday season.

“She misses her and is sad about her family dynamic,” the source added.

However, Britney has become closer to her brother, Brian Spears, and “talks to him a lot,” especially after her divorce. At this time, it’s unclear where Britney stands with her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, though a source said the sisters are hoping for a fresh start one day.
