I have recently encountered many articles on the WBC feather weighing hero in Mexico, Salvador Sanchez, 44-1-1, with 32 knockouts. This is an impressive record.

It was the only time that I saw the Battle of Sanchez in September 1980, and won the majority decision against Patrick Ford from Joyana, 16-0, when it was 36-1-1, in Collerom Freeman, in San Antonio, Texas, via television. I thought Ford did enough to obtain the decision.
Sanchez will continue to win his next seven battles before losing his life in a collision of cars on August 12, 1982, and collided with a truck during the speed, according to the police report.
Sanchez won the title, where Danny “Little Red” Lopez, 42-3, stopped in February 1980, in Phoenix, from A to Z. He was later suspended one of the greatest boxers from Puerto Rico, Wilfredo Gomez, 32-0, in August 1981, in Las Vegas. He wins his next three battles, and ends with the suspension of the future champion Azuma Nelson, 13-0, at Madison Square Park.
Looking at the great world of super weight, light weight, lightweight hero, Julio “JC” Chavez, 107-6-2 with 85 knockouts compared to about 29 batch title.
Chavez was defeating Roger Mayweather, Rocky Lukridge, Juan Laporte, Edwin Rosario, Rafael Lemon, Jose Luis Ramirez, Sami Fuintis, Milndrick Taylor, Loony Smith, Hector Camacho, Greg Hogan, Franky Randal, Tony Lopez, Giovanni Paris. He lost to Randal, Oscar de la Hoya and Costa Tsuzio.
Both fighters were introduced in the International Boxing Hall.
Who do you think was the greatest Mexican champion between the two?
