Bayer Leverkusen CEO believes that a penalty should be imposed on the third-class Arminia Bielefeld to not water the stadium before the German league champions are expelled in the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal.

“They deserved to win,” Caro said of Armenia.

Michael Mottal, sports director of Armenia, rushed to refuse Caro’s complaints.
“We talked to the referee on this issue before the match,” said Motzel. “If the stadium is watered in the morning, you will not need to water again (before the match). Today’s watering is enough.
“We do not do that (water stadiums before the match start) for our league matches. Why should we do that day? We will be in a non -favorable position if we water the stadium.”
The main coach, Michel Knaya, was similarly rejecting Caro’s claims, and indicated that Leverkusen had an additional day to prepare him after she took advantage of the latest league match last Friday. Armenia, fourth in 3.Liga, played on Saturday.
“These are our rules here,” Knaya told reporters. “We also would like to leave another day.”
Leverkusen Xabi Alonso coach was more honest about Caro.
“Of course everyone feels disappointed, but I also have to congratulate Armenia Belveield,” Alonso said. They played better and were better in everything as well.
“We didn’t have a good game today, and therefore we were disappointed. We had no control and made individual mistakes. Nothing works today.”
