A United Nations official said on Saturday that the semi -Sudanese group launched a two -day attack on the camps affected by the famine for the two displaced people who left more than 100 dead, including 20 children and nine relief workers, in the Darfur region.

The group said that the central market in Zamzam along with hundreds of temporary homes in the camp was destroyed.

The attack for about 2,400 people was forced to flee the camps and loss, according to the general coordination of the displaced people and refugees, a local group in Darfur.

Nkitta Salami said that Zamzam and Abu Shok are lighting more than 700,000 people who were forced to flee their homes through Darfur during previous fighting attacks in the area.

Late last month, the Sudanese army collect On Khartoum, a great symbolic victory in the war. But RSF still controls most of Darfur and some other regions.

The two camps are among the five regions in Sudan, where the famine was discovered through the classification of integrated food security, IPC, which is the Global Hunger Control Group.
