Medical sources told Al -Jazeera that at least 59 people, including children, were killed in a barrage of Israeli attacks through the besieged Gaza Strip.

Rescue teams and paramedics in the pocket said that at least 12 people belonging to the same family were among those who were killed on Thursday when their house was targeted in Gabalia in northern Gaza.

The Civil Defense said in a statement that six members of another family – a couple and their four children – were killed when an air strike was settled in Gaza City.

Ahmed Arr, the first respondent in Gaza City, said that there are “large quantities of body parts and remains”, including many children, after the attack.

“There are only hands, legs and heads. All of them are cut off and torn,” he told Arar Al -Jazeera.

10 other people were killed and many others were injured in a strike at a former police station in the Gabalia area in northern Gaza, according to a statement from the Indonesian Hospital, where the losses were taken.

“Everyone began running and screaming, and they did not know what they are doing from the horror and intensity of the bombing,” said Abdel -Qader Saba, who is 23 years old, from Gabalia, about the attack that struck the station near the market.

The Israeli army said it struck what it described as a “command and control center” of Hamas in the Gabalia region, without clarifying whether it was targeting the police station. The army previously used similar justifications in the attacks that struck hospitals and many shelters that include Palestinian families.

At least 26 people were killed in other Israeli attacks through the region, according to paramedics and the Civil Defense Agency.

“There is a continuous increase in the rate of Israeli attacks on the entire Gaza Strip.”

He said that the civil defense crews are still working on the rubble at the last accident in Gabalia.

A rescue worker was martyred that he said that many of the victims were injured.

A “larger” attack?

Israel resumed its military attack on the Gaza Strip on March 18, as it ended the ceasefire for two months, which led to a temporary stoppage to fight in the confined lands.

The army continues to close the vital border crossings for the eighth week in a row, which deprives the entry of humanitarian aid that affects the need, including medical supplies and fuel, which exacerbates a deeply deep humanitarian crisis amid uncompromising bombing.

On Thursday, the Israeli army commander, who is visiting the forces in Gaza, threatened a “larger” attack if the prisoners were seized in the Hamas -led attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, who were not released.

“If we do not advance the return of the hostages in the near future, we will expand our activities to a larger and more important process.”

Meanwhile, the Israeli army, who live in the northern regions of Beit Hannon and Sheikh Zaid, ordered the evacuation before the attack.

The United Nations has warned that Israeli evacuation orders throughout Gaza lead to “forced transport” to people to consecutive areas.

Relief agencies estimate that the vast majority of Gaza population of 2.4 million have been displaced at least once since the war began.

Also on Thursday, the Gaza Ministry of Health said that the Durra Children’s Hospital in Gaza City has become unnecessary, a day after an Israeli strike was hit by the upper part of the building, which led to the destruction of the intensive care unit and the destruction of the solar plate system in the facility.

The health regime in Gaza was destroyed through the 18 -month -old Israeli military campaign, which led to the removal of many region’s hospitals from work, the killing of doctors, and the reduction of decisive supplies.

The efforts of the main intermediaries Qatar and Egypt, supported by the United States, have yet failed to produce a permanent ceasefire.

Since Israel has resumed its attack, at least 1978 people have been killed in Gaza, which raised the total number of deaths to at least 51,355 since October 2023, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The army said on Thursday that the Israeli tank fire killed a worker at the United Nations in the city of Deir Al -Bala in Gaza, central Gaza last month, according to the preliminary results of the investigation.

He initially denied working in the area where a Bulgarian employee was killed at the United Nations Project Services Office (UNOPS) on March 19.

The results come after the army reported on Sunday about a separate investigation into the killing of 15 Palestinian emergency workers in Gaza.

He finally admitted that the operational failure led to their death, and said that the commander of the field would be rejected.
