Archaeologists have discovered ancient tools dating back millions of years

Just over 50 years ago, paleontologist Donald Johnson discovered the remains of “Lucy,” an ancient human relative who lived more than 3 million years ago. Now, another group of scientists has found new evidence about what life was like in Lucy’s time, including the surprising discovery of early tools dating back three million years.
