On Monday, American and Russian negotiators sat in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a partial ceasefire in Ukraine, hours after a round of negotiations between the United States and the Ukrainian delegation.

State news agencies, TASS and Ria Novosti, said that the negotiations had started in the capital. The meeting is expected to follow another contact between us and the Ukrainian teams.

Detailed meetings are scheduled to discuss long -term attack details for both Russia and Ukraine against energy and civil infrastructure facilities, in addition to stopping attacks in the Black Sea to ensure safe commercial shipping.

Ukraine and Russia in principle have agreed to a ceasefire on US President Donald Trump with the leaders of the countries. However, the parties presented various views on the goals that will be outside the attack and accused each other of undermining efforts to reach a stop in the fighting that began when Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

Russia, accusations of the exchange of Ukraine

While the White House said, “Energy and infrastructure will be covered, the Kremlin announced that the agreement indicates more narrowly to the” energy infrastructure. “Ukrainian President Voludimir Zelinski said he also wants to protect railways and ports.

The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Friday that the agreement between Trump and Putin only refers to energy facilities, adding that the Russian army fulfills Putin’s ranking to stop these attacks for 30 days. Peskov accused Ukraine of taking part of the partial shooting of an attack on the gas station in Soudha in the Russian Kursk region. The Ukrainian Military General Staff rejected Moscow’s accusations and blamed the Russian army for bombing a black gas station, calling for Peskov’s refusal to be “ridiculous”.

In a televised statement on Sunday evening, Zelinski said that “since March 11, the suggestion of unlawful shooting on the table has already stopped, but it was Russia that continues all this.”

“There must be more pressure on Russia to stop this terrorism,” Zelinski said, adding that “it depends on all our partners – the United States, Europe and others around the world.”

Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is open to a 30-day full ceasefire that Trump proposed, while Russian President Vladimir Putin has completely stopped the shooting supplies to Kiev and the suspension of the military mobilization of Ukraine-requires demands by Osrin and the West.

“Constructive conversations” so far: Zelinski

As for the Sunday talks in Riyadh between Ukrainian actors and the United States, Zelinski said it was held at the “technical level” compared to similar meetings last week, and this time it included representatives from the Ukraine Corps and the Ministry of Energy and Diplomacy.

“Our team works completely constructive, and the discussion is very useful. Delegations continue,” Zelinski said. “But regardless of what we are discussing with our partners at the present time, Putin must be pushed to issue a real order to stop the strikes, because the person who brought this war must be the person who returns it.”
