Allison Holker He released an official statement after an intense few days of being a trending topic. We’re only halfway through the week, but this is the second time she’s addressed social media concerns over intimate details she revealed about her life with her late husband and his alleged drug addiction. In her statement, she spoke about the upcoming release of her book, “This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light.” She addressed Stephen’s family, friends and supporters on Instagram Stories and shared that she hopes to help another family with her book. She admitted that she will “never know what really happened” and that she is trying to put together what pieces she can.
“If you decide to read the book, I hope you will see my intention is to celebrate the love and life I shared with Stephen and our three beautiful children, as well as the more complex aspects of our lives. I hope that by sharing our full story, I may be able to help someone else who may see themselves or a loved one In Stephen.
Alison added that she hopes sharing will help another family “catch up on some of the red flags” they missed before it’s too late. Holker also explained that her writing was based on two years of conversations with the National Alliance on Mental Illness and Defense Line (the mental health community). What led to Allison Holker’s second statement
