“All I learned today is…”: Influencer Anish Bhagat spends a day with sex worker, treats her to sushi

Indian influencer Anish Bhagat has gained recognition for his heartfelt gestures, which often bring moments of joy to some of the most vulnerable members of society. Whether it is traveling to Pune to spend time with an auto driver whose son abandoned her or helping her homemaker buy her first home loan-free, Bhagat’s actions continue to inspire and touch hearts across the country.

In his latest act of kindness, Bhagat traveled to one of India’s well-known red light districts to meet Roxy, a sex worker who follows him on social media.

Bhagat spent the whole day with Roxy and gave her sushi. He shared a video of their time together on Instagram, which has received more than 17.7 million views.

“What a day!” Bhagat captioned the video on Instagram.

Reflecting on his experience, he wrote: “Spending the day with Roxy Dee was truly amazing. Her resilience and wisdom touched my heart. She’s been here for 15 years and now has rented a place of her own where she takes tutoring classes for the little ones. She even keeps her daughter out of this world , ensuring that she receives a quality education in an English medium school.

Bahgat concluded his heartfelt essay with a poignant message: “All I learned today is that you don’t have to understand someone’s story to respect them — respect is a basic right, not a privilege,” followed by a heart symbol. .

The video begins with Bhagat informing his followers about his trip to one of the most famous red light districts in India to meet Roxy. As the footage unfolds, Bhagat meets Roxy and accompanies her to her home.

Roxy welcomes him to her apartment and gives him a tour. “This is my room. I never bring anyone here; you’re the first one,” she shares frankly.

As they sit together, Roxy talks about her painful journey. “My uncle brought me here after my father died, and promised to help me get a job here, but instead he sold me out,” she recounts.

Roxy adds, her feelings clear: “15 years have passed, and my youth is gone. Even the pain is gone.”

Despite her difficult life, Roxy reveals that she finds solace in reading and proudly shows off the book she is currently busy with.

“I feel women’s pain for being here. Our lives are a waste. Stop rape, come to us,” she says, reflecting on her perspective on her circumstances.

When Behcet asks how he can make her day better, Roxy mentions her desire to try sushi. The video ends on a note with the two enjoying sushi together at a restaurant.
