Aidy Boothryd reveals the diagnosis of Parkinson

The former Parkinson President in England under 21 was diagnosed with Parkinson.

The 54 -year -old, who worked with many young teams in the Football Association between 2014 and 2021, revealed the news this morning.

In a statement on the League Directors Association, Bothroyd said: “Three years ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson.

“The news came as a tremendous shock to me, following what I expected the annual routine healthy evaluation.

“It took me a time to feel prepared to share my diagnoses, and I found it difficult not to open up completely with people.

“Personally, my passion and love for training is as always as it was, I focus on maintaining your fitness, which is essential to slow down Parkinson’s progress.

“I am ready to start the next chapter in my life.

“I would like to thank LMA and Parkinson in the United Kingdom for their support.”

Bothroyd, who also had seizures responsible for Watford, Colchster, Coventry and Northampton, the last time in India with Jamsheedbur.

“Aidy has shown incredible positive, solution and design since Parkinson’s diagnosis three years ago. His passion for football and people pushing him and continues to play an active role in LMA, as a great member of his occurrence in events and education,” said LMA CEO Richard Pivan.
