Your guide to what the American elections mean 2024 for Washington and the world
American senior judge John Roberts said on Tuesday that Donald Trump’s threat to dismiss federal judges “is not an appropriate response” to the disputes over their rulings.
“For more than two centuries, it has been proven that the dismissal is not an appropriate response to the dispute regarding a judicial decision,” Roberts said in the statement. “There is a regular appeal review process for this purpose.”
The intervention of the chief of judges came shortly after the US President’s criticism of a federal judge who tried to prevent the deportation of the alleged Venezuelan gangs to El Salvador.
“This judge, just like many twisted judges, must be forced to appear before, was isolated !!!” Trump wrote about the social truth.
“This radical madness was not elected to the judge, and he is the firm stabilizers and the instigator, which was unfortunately appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, president – he did not win the popular vote (with a lot!).”
The rare general reprimand is one of the largest judge in the Supreme Court in America confirms the rising tensions between the Trump administration and the government’s judicial branch.
Federal judges began a large number of temporary restrictions against Trump’s actions about everything from migration to dismissing government workers.
This is a developing story
