Marketing Insights has announced today that it has acquired Video game visions (VGI), Data and Market Research Company. VGI brings its experience to each of the PC and the control unit to join the current Tower data on the scene of the mobile phone games. VGI will continue to work with video games with Sensor Tower, and all VGI staff will be integrated into the sensor tower team.
The basic data game for the industry was on Steam, and the Valve computer game platform – including games sales and trends in the user’s behavior. VGI also expanded this year to provide similar data on Xbox and PlayStation. Sensor and VGI combined can provide visions of publishers in the game via mobile phone, personal computer and control unit, according to both companies.
Oliver Yah, CEO of Sensor Tower Gamesbeat, told an interview that the acquisition brings data better represents the widespread ecosystem for the video game industry. “The extended data group cancels the player’s behavior through platforms, sharing and revenues according to the statute, and trends in retrieve and enthusiasm.
This is the second acquisition by Sensor Tower, as the company acquired Data.AI in 2024 to better understand the scene of mobile phone games. According to Yeh, Sensor Tower continued to search for ways to update their products after this acquisition: “The addition of PC and Console Desights has long been a higher request than our customer base.
“We are happy to join the sensor tower and increase our goal of providing the industry with a comprehensive vision of the ecosystem of games,” said Karl Contestin, CEO of the VGI company mentioned above, in a statement.
