Dan Berni has revealed that he has not yet celebrated the Carabau Cup’s historic victory in Newcastle due to his first invitation in England.
The 32 -year -old celebrated his first invitation to the England team last Thursday by operating Newcastle’s goal in Newcastle in Wembley on Sunday against Liverpool.
Bleith’s defender now hopes for his first appearance at any level of his country in the first match of coach Thomas Tuchille, the World Cup qualifiers, on Friday against Albania.
Bern said: “It was strange. Once I left the stadium (Sunday), my focus has completely turned into this,” Bern said.
“I had my family here and the children and we ended up with the bus at about 12 am to the hotel.
“It was a little jamd and I was ready to sleep! There will be time to celebrate. I know that the club put things around a procession (week) on Saturday, so I think this is the time when I will celebrate.
“But I waited a long time for this opportunity and did not want to spoil it.”
Burning: It was previously overlooked for England
Bern, who started his career in Darlington and listed episodes in Juventus and Wigan, admitted that he felt that contact with England had passed.
“Yes, I think I have been overlooked, but I understood it,” he said. “What Gareth (Southgate) did to bring England from where the competition in the finals showed that his method was very good.
“When the new director came, there was a clean list, but as soon as she moved during many international breaks, he accepted the time when the time has passed, but fortunately, the new director seized my.
“Maybe this made me very flexible. I don’t think I have a straight line path in my career, I really started late and it was up and down.
“I first appeared in the Premier League in 21 and three years later, I was released by Fulham, so I feel that he made me stronger.
“I really don’t care about people’s opinions. I learned to know what I am good at, and I know the opinions that interest me.
“I feel that I was a lot about it in my career. I doubt that many people who saw me play in Darlington will say I will sit here at a press conference for England.”
Burning aims to be part of the 2026 World Cup
Bern said his goal is to secure his place in Tuchel plans for the World Cup and appear at the largest football stage.
He added: “I try to take it in the camp in the camp at the present time. I just want to leave a great impression and try to make the next camp.
“But it is clear that every child’s dream is to play in the World Cup or even play for your country, so I know that I have this opportunity, if I take it, this is a special matter.”
“Tuchel tore the schedule of England”
Sky SPORTS News Senior Reporter Rob Dorm Dormset at St. George’s Park:
Tuesday is the first time that Thomas Tuchille will see him taking a training session with England players.
“I got the grass with them on Monday after they met in the morning, but this was warm.
“It will be really interesting to know the shape of the body language and chemistry between Tuchel and the players. He has many of them to get to know it.
“Tuchel torn the scheduling. Under the leadership of Gareth Southgate, Lee Carsley, and other England managers, the team used to training in the morning.
“Tuchel decided that he wanted them to carry out their media duties in the morning, then the training session will be at 4:30 pm. Tuchel will want the training to be closer to the start of the match.”
Merceon: The England group needs to be reset, but Tuchel hasn’t got time
The England group needs to reset, but Thomas Tuchil has not had time.
How Morgan Gibbs-Wite was not originally chosen outside the joke. He played the entire season. Marcus Rashford played 10 minutes. But I do not blame Rashford, I blame the FA for the contract they gave Tuchil.
They didn’t give him any time to get it correctly. A longer deal with two World Cup and European Championship should have been given.
He cannot afford the costs of continuing to look at the difference and know whether Tom, Dick or Harry will be fine for the next year. He needs his team now. It needs to win the World Cup.
