Who is Srikanth Bolla
SRIKANTH BOLLA, CEO, co -founder and chairman of the Bollant Industries Private Limited, is a businessman and an optical processor who appeared on the Forbes 30 U -30 list. The first international blind student was accepted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States, according to Paula.
His company, Bolant, has recorded an annual rotation rate of more than $ 150 million and is currently using more than 500 people.
Paula had a miles away to reach his school, who joined him at the age of six, and he continued to be among the best scorers in Andra Pradesh in the high school diploma exams. He fought legal battles with the state government when he wanted to study with the science stream after the tenth place, despite the government’s rules that prevent blind students from registering in this stream.
After registering 98 percent in the 12th category, Paula was rejected by many Indian engineering colleges, including IISS, which claimed to be unable to manage studies of a person facing a visual challenge. Without deterrence, he applied to many international colleges, including Stanford, Birkeley and Carnegie Mellon, and finally chose to register at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
After completing his studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Returning from the United States in 2005, Paula became a young pioneer in the India Command Program to Combat Poverty and Unemployment, and train more than eight youths of Cham in leadership, human values and employment skills.
He also designed and implemented the Braille Library in Hyderabad using grants from the Legatum Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and participated in the establishment of the Samanvay Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities in Hyderabad in 2011, and in 2012, Bollant Industries began a capital of only $ 19,000.
Since its foundation in 2012, the company has grown at a fixed rate of 20 percent per month, with an annual growth rate of 107 percent from 2015 to 2019.
