Residents of the Indian Ocean Islands, Mauritius, and Renon, rushed to stored basic materials on Thursday, as Hurricane Garans is approaching tires. The storm, which is expected to pass 50 kilometers of La Reunion beaches, prompted the authorities to impose a “red alert”, closing airports and schools, and urged all residents to stay at home, with the exception of law enforcement and emergency services.
