Bengaluru woman Nimisha Chanda, who has been looking for a third flatmate for her 3-bedroom apartment in HSR Layout for over a month, recently shared a humorous 15-point pitch to attract potential candidates. Along with her current housemate Agrima Dwivedi, both from marketing backgrounds, she boldly claims that they are “cooler than anyone before”.

“Join us in our 3 bedroom apartment in HSR (near Main Road 27), I promise we are better than your ex. We have been looking for a flatmate who would like to join our fully furnished 3 bedroom apartment in HSR, during Last month, Chanda wrote, “But we haven’t found any yet,” listing 15 interesting and compelling reasons.

Since both Chanda and Dwivedi have marketing backgrounds, Chanda promised that the new roommate will “never run out of startup gossip, creative ideas, and unsolicited beauty advice,” adding, “Brainstorming sessions and free resources are included!”

She also reassured potential housemates that there would be no judgement, even if their “chair serves as a wardrobe.”

Additionally, she highlighted the duo’s diverse musical taste: “We enjoy playlists without genre loyalty – hip-hop, spin, electronic music in one sitting? Absolutely.”

For book lovers, Chanda said their house is filled with a lot of books available to borrow. She also noted that the two often cook together, go out and have a good time. “The subscription comes free if you decide to join us,” she joked, adding: “Agrima knows all my stories, and I know all her friends.”

While parties are rare at their place, Chanda emphasized that if they hosted one, it would be a blast, even for non-drinkers like her.

The show also highlighted “free gossip and gossip” sessions. “I love talking to someone after I get home. Bonus if we can sit at the galley and talk about life, work, crushes and fun together,” she said.

Chanda sweetened the offer by noting that she would be happy to share clothes and accessories for a night out. “Do you need clothes or earrings for a night out? Go ahead, borrow away! We won’t mind. We both don’t wear a lot of makeup, but if you need help applying the perfect eyeliner, I might just knock on your door with a distress call. Don’t worry.” If you are also ignorant, we will solve the problem together.”

She concluded her post by saying: “We both like to keep the house clean, not too tidy but it means we don’t invite cockroaches to the party” – basic cleanliness, not military cleanliness… but we like to have fun and hangout together. And if you have a cat or kittens, you are at the top of the list because Agrima loves them.”

Her creative idea quickly spread on social media, sparking a wave of reactions. “I would have happily signed up if I hadn’t moved back recently,” one individual commented.

Another added: “Like the post! Hope you find a roommate too!” “Smiled while reading the entire post,” expressed a third.
