Hamas said on Monday that the postponement of the issuance of the Israeli hostages planned on Saturday “until another notice”, accusing Israel of not adhering to complicated approval of the shooting between the two sides.
In a brief statement, Hamas spokesman accused Israel of violating various aspects of the fragile deal to stop the war in Gaza, which entered into force three weeks ago.
As part of the agreement, Hamas liberated the Israeli hostages in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons.
There was no immediate response from Israel.
During the past three weeks, Hamas has launched 21 hostages in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
