warningthe most significant hardware announcement Nintendo has made in the past year, will soon be available to more people. Nintendo says It will be possible to purchase the motion-tracking alarm clock “in stores at participating retailers” in March, without requiring a Nintendo Switch Online subscription or visiting a physical Nintendo Store.
The Nintendo Alarm Clock was originally released in October 2024. It combines the beloved sound effects of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, super mario odyssey, and Pikmin 4 With motion sensors that can track tossing and turning. This gives the Alarmo some rudimentary sleep-tracking features, morning alarms that can get louder the more you move, and only stop when you actually sit down.

like Engadget review I found the Alarmo to be expensive at $100, and it’s not particularly great as a sleep tracking tool. The alarm can only track one person at a time, preventing anyone who shares a bed from accessing its most magical features. But if you’re weak on Nintendo nostalgia or have a kid who’s already a fan, the watch is a nice way to start your morning routine.
Come March, retailers will only have the Alarmo “while supplies last,” but hopefully by then, die-hard Nintendo fans will have already saved their money Next big purchase.
