A South Korean lawmaker said on Monday, citing the South Korean spy agency, that about 300 North Korean soldiers were killed and 2,700 others were wounded while fighting alongside Russia in Ukraine. Diaries found on the deceased soldiers revealed that they had been ordered to kill themselves rather than take them prisoner.
