Nikhil Kamath shared the teaser of the next episode of his podcast, sending his followers into a state of panic. Kamath shared a short clip of himself speaking in Hindi and telling his guest that he was asking questions the last time they met as well.
Kamath’s guest clip did not feature, and was posted without a caption. The clip ended with his guest laughing at his statement.
This sent the Twitterati dizzy, trying to guess the next guest.
However, most people who picked the available clues commented that it was most likely Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “It turns out your podcast is the first one he will be featured in. “Very cool,” one user commented, while another said: “Must applaud PM Modi. He evolves over time like any other politician. He knows where to find connection with young people. We would not be surprised here that there are free conversations between politicians in all fields, in the form of debate instead of traditional interviews on television news channels. It is good to see the entrepreneurial spirit emerging in the country.”
“How can anyone not recognize that laugh. “Waiting for this with bated breath,” said one user, while another commented: “Separate behind-the-scenes video of this interview please.” Followers of the Zerodha co-founder congratulated him on PM Modi’s appointment as His podcast.
“A few years ago, I came to Bengaluru to meet entrepreneurs from the startup community. Your last meeting of the night – you met us. If you remember, I was asking you questions even then,” Nikhil Kamath told his guest.
The Kamath brothers – Nikhil and Nithiin – met Prime Minister Modi in Bengaluru in 2023. “When you don’t meet someone, just read about them or watch them,” Nikhil Kamath said, describing the “cheerleader” moment in an interview at the time. On the platform – it is very easy to misunderstand or follow the opinion formed by society… He has a lot of aura and is very likable. He knows everything about everything.”
He had said in the interview that their meeting with the Prime Minister “was probably his 85th meeting of the day” on Sunday night at 9pm.
They have since attended events together including the Vibrant Global Gujarat Summit 2023 and Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the White House in 2023, where he met a host of dignitaries including India’s leaders.
