Dr. Omar, Yandy Smith and Mendeese reveal they have obtained citizenship in Ghana
On Monday, January 6, Dr. Omar took to Instagram to share a video image And a long message with his followers. Furthermore, the photo featured a picture of himself wearing traditional clothing with text partly written on it, “…Citizen of Ghana 1.6.25”
Commenting on his post, Dr. Omar shared his enthusiasm and gratitude.
“…Although I am by no means the first African from the diaspora to obtain citizenship on the mother continent, I may be the most prominent pan-Africanist to do so so far in the 21st century,” he wrote in part. Legalism in Africa completely and forever changes the narrative and direction of the global Panfrican movement, and will reinvigorate African consciousness around the world.

Mendeecees then took to the platform to share a Common function With Yandy Smith. Furthermore, the post showed a photo of them smiling while wearing traditional clothes.
