Satechi’s latest hub fixes an annoying bug in the M4 Mac Mini — and looks good doing it

Satechi has introduced the Mac Mini M4 Stand & Hub with SSD enclosure in Consumer Electronics Show 2025And we were able to take a look. Probably the most compelling feature is the notch that makes accessing the mini PC’s power button easier. The stand raises the Mac Mini off your desk, but leaves a concave space so you can access the power button down its back side. On the front of the hub are USB-A 3.2 and 2.0 ports, as well as an SD card reader that promises speeds of up to 312MB/s for file transfers. The SSD enclosure lets you add up to 4TB of NVMe storage to your Mac Mini. The hub has a recessed space at the top where the computer sits to allow for better airflow than the Mac Mini’s fans, and it comes with its own bottom vents, too. It connects to a built-in Thunderbolt cable that’s long enough to reach your computer port so it doesn’t add cable clutter.

In terms of design, the stand looks like a random copy of a Mac Mini, and has a similar look and feel to a PC. In person, the hub feels like a natural extension of Apple’s mini cube and certainly doesn’t spoil the aesthetic.

There is a lot of quality USB-C hubs On the market, but customers who prefer the Mac Mini for its simplicity and small size may appreciate how clean this Satechi accessory is with the machine.
