Nina Dobrev celebrates first Christmas with Shaun White as ‘fiancee’

Nina Dobrev And her fiancé, Shaun Whitespent their first Christmas together as an engaged couple, and the actress gave fans a sneak peek of their fun holiday moments.

Dobrev took to her Instagram page and shared photos and videos of her time at what appears to be a mountain resort.

Shaun White proposed to Nina Dobrev at a popular restaurant after he tricked the actress into believing she was going to a Vogue dinner with fashion icon Anna Wintour.

Dobrev and White are definitely on top of the world as the couple had bright smiles in the photos and videos the “The Vampire Diaries” star shared to celebrate their first Christmas together as an engaged couple.

The actress shared the photos and videos with her nearly 30 million followers on Instagram, captioning the post: “First Christmas as fiancées.”

In the first shot in the stock photo, White can be seen smiling at the camera in his hand as he takes a selfie with Dobrev, who is smiling at him.

The couple appeared to be at a snowy mountain resort with family members for the holiday, while another photo appeared of Dobrev hugging two smiling children.

Wyatt and Dobrev were also photographed in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and playing with a dog in the snow in the hilarious video.

In the comments section of the actress’ post, Dobrev and White received season’s compliments from fans who were happy to see an unloading of the newly engaged couple’s vacation photos.

One person said: “Nina, you don’t know how happy I am for you! You’ve finally found your happiness.”

Another said: “They are made for each other,” while a third said: “Aging backwards! Best couple.”

However, some fans were more interested in Dobrev’s engagement ring, which stole the spotlight in the photos from the photo dump.

“Girl, how do you not have a panic attack while riding with that rock,(?)” one fan asked.

Another commented: “All I see is a rock and it sends me off every time.”

The couple’s holiday outing comes nearly two months after Wyatt proposed to Dobrev at the Golden Swan restaurant.

In an interview with Vogue magazineDobrev revealed that the engagement was a surprise. She came to the restaurant thinking she would have an intimate CFDA/Vogue dinner with Anna Wintour.

However, upon entering the place where dinner was to take place, she found White standing under an arch of roses.

“I was in shock. I froze and stared at him,” Dobrev said of the experience, adding that she repeatedly said the word “no” because she couldn’t believe White was about to pop the question.

White and Dobrev started dating in 2019 after they met each other at an event in Florida. They moved in together the following year and made their relationship Instagram official.

Before the ice skater’s proposal, he tried to pop the question twice, but unexpected situations thwarted each one.

The first was last November while they were on a trip to Cape Town, South Africa. However, when their friends asked when they would get engaged, White thought it would be best to postpone the proposal to a different time.

White also wanted to propose to Dobrev during her summer vacation this year but scrapped the plan after the actress unexpectedly broke her kneecap while riding a bike.

While chatting with Us WeeklyWyatt spoke about his romance with Dobrev and how they kept the fire burning in a long-distance relationship.

“We have a nice little system of how we stay in touch,” he said in 2021. “Plane tickets are pretty much booked for any chance we can go see each other.”

The skater continued, “So, I know that over the holiday break, we’ll meet, and we’ll meet again probably around Christmas time. And whatever happens in between, I’ll be flying out and just seeing you make it work.”

“I think that’s the point of it all, and the key to all of it is just making time. (Nina’s) very organized and on top of that, so I give it to her. She always finds a way to make time,” White added. “It happens.”
