A young man suspected of stabbing a young man in Mali surrendered in a mosque in southern France and photographing the victim’s suffering in Italy. His lawyer said he was determined as Oliver Hadzovich, 21, by the Italian police, and Olivier A. The suspect claimed that he “killed the first person he saw” and expressed not hostility towards Islam or mosques. Francois Picard is discussing the issue with the author and researcher Olivier Estvis. He is a professor in British studies and political science at Lille University.
