Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) agreed to work for the May 2 draft peace agreement after months of escalating violence in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. In a diplomatic penetration, the two countries signed a declaration on Friday in Washington, pledged mutual respect for sovereignty and stopping military support for armed groups.
