US President Donald Trump Vladimir Putin criticized the latest fatal weather strikes on Ukraine, indicating frustration with Moscow even when the White House retracts Kiev to admit a real change within its limits.

Trump wrote on the social truth platform on Thursday: “I am not happy with Russian strikes on Kyiv.” “It is not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, stop! 5000 soldiers per week die. Let’s accomplish the peace deal!”

Trump’s comments came after breaking up and the largest bombing of Russia in the Ukrainian capital in months, killing at least nine people and wounding more than 80 others.

Russia launched strikes as Trump was criticizing Ukraine President Voludmir Zelinski for his peace plan.

Trump’s broadcasting of frustration with Putin-who was significantly less prepared to blame the war from Zelinski-indicates his struggle to make the Russian president agree on his proposals and provide a promise to bring Russia’s war and volcanic war for a year to a quick end.

Speaking at a press conference in South Africa, Zelinski said that Ukraine was already spending a great privilege by expressing his willingness to negotiate with Putin as soon as the full ceasefire agreement.

The United States’s readiness to make great concessions to Russia has raised Kiev’s concern and European allies such as NATO Secretary General Mark Root, who will later urge the Trump administration to not force Ukraine to accept a peace agreement against his will.

Three officials who have seen preparations said Root would use meetings with Trump’s assistants close to saying that an unfair peace settlement increases Russia’s exposure would increase Moscow’s threat to Europe.

A long -standing Rutte visit to Washington, which mainly focused on preparations for the NATO leaders in June, a day after Trump warned Zelenskyy for Refuse concessions Approval of a proposal for the United States to recognize Russia’s occupation of the Crimea.

The people said that Root would use meetings with Trump Defense Minister Beit Higseth, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz to confirm that European security will also be in danger if a pro -protein settlement is forced to Kiev.

“The main message is to make Americans understand what is at stake,” said one of the diplomats in NATO. The people said Root would also discuss the best way to transfer more NATO defense burden from Europe from the United States to European armies.

In addition, other Western leaders intensify efforts to influence Trump’s hardline position. Her spokesman said on Thursday that European Commission President Ursula von der Layen “will take advantage of” any opportunity to speak with Trump at the funeral of Pope Francis on Saturday.

European countries are afraid of Trump’s insistence on the awareness of Russia’s control of the Crimea to put them in a dispute with the White House as it approaches Moscow.

Putin’s Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday that Trump’s position on the peninsula, which Russia invaded and included by force from Ukraine in 2014, “is completely identical to the Russian position.”

Russia has offered to abandon some Putin’s remaining claims to Ukrainian lands that are not under its control, but it has not shown any tendency to agree to any peace deal unless its basic demands were met.

“President Putin supports peace achievement while ensuring the interests of our country. This is a mandatory case,” said Peskov, according to the state of Nurez Tass.

Peskov also ruled out the acceptance of a European peacekeeping presence in Ukraine, which is part of the plan that the United States presented to Ukraine and its allies in Paris last week.

Steve Whitchv, Trump’s Private Envoy, is expected to meet in Moscow this week for the fourth time this year.

Trump has become increasingly frustrated by Zelenskyy as Ukraine resists the approval of Putin’s demands, which would mainly force it to stop being an independent functional state.

“He can get peace, or he can fight for another three years before losing the entire country,” Trump said of Zelinski in a position in fact on Wednesday. He added: “We are very close to a deal, but the man who has” no cards to play “must finally accomplish it,” describing the situation for Ukraine as “terrible”.

Later on Wednesday, Trump broadcast his frustration again from Zelinski, and he told reporters at the Oval Office that he “thought he might be easier to deal with” from Russian President Vladimir Putin but “so far, it was more difficult.”

Zelinski said he would cut his trip to South Africa shorts and return to Kyiv immediately after the night bombing.

He said that Russia fired nearly 70 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and about 150 drones in his country. “Unfortunately, there is a great destruction,” he said.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has claimed that it had targeted Ukrainian aircraft factories, missiles, machinery and tanks, in addition to sites that produce fuel and gunpowder.
