Insta360 x5 ($ 550It is the latest Action 8K 360 camera, and although it remains a different proposal for traditional movement cameras, it is more powerful, more reliable and easier to use.
X5 has a large -sensor 1/1.28 inches compared to 1/2 inch sensor, guarantee more details and a noticeable increase in low light performance. The problem is to capture the camera on a large scale that the details are lost, especially in low -light settings. Upgrading specifications this time significantly reduces this, including up to 13.5 dynamic domain stops.
Over the years, I tried to integrate 360 -degree cameras into my workflow, using them on leave or in events. However, many of the content that I pick up is either during the evening or in a dark place, literally the main weakness of these types of cameras. In an attempt to address these shooting conditions, Insta360 has presented a new PureVideo position with artificial intelligence noise and improving the dynamic range with brighter and brighter shots in low -light conditions. It is not perfect, but it transmits a faint video that is not useful to fit, if not good. With the AI 5NM chip and photography potatoes, X5 can also capture the active HDR on shots of up to 5.7 km per second.

This set of chips also reduces the time of processing. Insta360 does not specify a faster range, but from a stories, the processing of the device and the transfer of files to my smartphone was significantly faster. Videos are almost immediately kept on the camera, while providing many short clips on my phone that took about 30 seconds, compared to minutes on the previous devices.
Although X5 does not offer a higher video of its predecessor, it packs imaging options, such as Instaframe, which has become fast in my photography mode. Instaframe can record a model “flat” video and a 360 -degree video clip at the same time. The idea is that this gives a flat video “Participated immediately”, without any need to reformulate or heavy editing.
But when you have to do this, the Insta360 smartphone app has been improved, with some useful useful editing tools. You can re -edit the video at 360 degrees to focus on the user, or forced one view. Everything is very intuitive, a feature that should not be ignored.

X5 is an incredibly multi -use tool, and there is something that can be said to the camera that can be captured Everything. However, in less favorable circumstances (or when the person is not a camera), you may prefer the simplest settings and methods of photography for the traditional movement camera.
X5 works better in less lighting, but it does not match the improvements we have seen in photography of smartphones with low light in recent years. Although I wander with caution late in the evening to pick up low -light shots, there was an effect after vibration because the camera is struggling to stabilize the shots. This can be reduced by staying fixed, but even with Purevideo (which can also be a very aggressive treatment noise), there was no yet. I will continue to test the camera and provide more impressions. Insta360 pushed the fixed program update to X5 hours before this story was published, adding 4K60FPS recording in the single lens mode, and several resolution protesters through other recording modes.
In terms of design, you have to get up close to knowing the difference between X5 and X4. It is largely the same size, although Insta360 has turned into a pipeline on the introduction, with a microphone plate (and the new window goalkeeper).
The battery cabin and the microSD slice are secured in a double latch where the microSD hole lives, which is protected with solid covers with sliding locks. Both sides of the camera have a ground texture, with record buttons and mode located under the screen.
With the same thread, the current Insta360 personal photo sticks will work with its latest camera, although fast charging and cases will not, due to devices changes. The most important thing: the effect of lead in Insta360 is still here –
Most of the adjustments are found in the settings, such as its predecessors, in the drop -down lists of each side of the screen. The right scroll will take you to the exhibition, while the handcamings options are a left criticism. There are alteration and lock settings in the drop -down menu. There is a lot, but if you have used a smartphone, you should find the common basic navigation.

Faster charging battery (0 to 80 percent in 20 minutes)
-
A new wind winds made of steel
-
IP68 Water isolation up to 49 feet
-
Magnetic installation system

“Twist to Shoot” registration feature, to start registration by twisting a connected personal stick
Insta360 x5 is offered for sale now, With the basic package is also available for $ 660. The package includes an additional battery, a fast charging condition, a “invisible” personal stick, lens guards and pregnancy. This is more than $ 50 of Insta360 X4 was at launch. Improvements that face both low -light performance and new photography methods may be worth an increase in prices, but do not expect a fragile video of 4K (or 8K) if the light is a problem.
Competition in this category is still relatively limited. The TTA series continues with a similar camera shape factor, but it appears to focus on the shots more than the video, while the GOPRO MAX 360 camera lacks features such as 4K traditional video capture, not to mention 8K recording. The best alternatives are 360 other Insta360 cameras, such as X4 last year.
Although there are lower changes in specifications and design compared to last year, Insta360 X5 is another step forward for this type of camera, both in terms of photography and in controlling how to share what you pick up.
