A cargo ship pulls alongside in Türkiye

A ship anchored in a port in Istanbul flipped on its side in the early hours of Monday morning, sending its cargo into the water.

Local reports stated that the ship, called “Anma”, became unbalanced due to the uneven loading of containers on board.

All 15 crew members survived without suffering serious damage, although one person with minor injuries was taken to hospital.
