The police said that one of the gunmen opened fire on Thursday at Florida State University, killing two people and wounding at least five others.
The authorities said that the 20 -year -old militant was the son of the deputy of Sharif, who used the former service weapon in the shooting.
Jason Tromor, head of the Florida State University Police Department, said that the two people who died were not students at the university, in Talhaasi, Florida, but the shooter is believed to be a student.
