Analysis of the Middle East agenda in Donald Trump with Stephen Cook from the Council of Foreign Relations.
Stephen Cook, his oldest colleague in the Council of Foreign Relations, says:
Cook tells host Steve Cleimms that Trump wants a deal with Iran, and he may pressure Israel to end its war on Gaza before his proposed trip to the Gulf region next month.
There is a “confidence deficit” between Trump and Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu, and Cook adds, and this explains why Trump told Netanyahu to be “reasonable” regarding the President of Syria and Turkish Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
