Junta’s Junta president won the presidency by landslide, and shows temporary results

Jointa Brich Oligui Noguea won the presidential elections for Gabon with more than 90 percent of the vote, according to the temporary results issued on Sunday. The participation rate was 70.4 %, and no other candidate has received more than 3 percent, in opinion polls on the occasion of the first vote since the overthrow of the 2023 coup with the Bongo dynasty.
