The paramedics in Israel said that the Israeli missiles hit a building inside a major hospital in Gaza on Sunday, which led to the destruction of the emergency and reception department and the damage of other structures.

Health officials at the Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza City evacuated patients from the building after a phone call from a person who knew himself as Israeli security shortly before the pre -dawn attack.

No victims have been reported in the strike. The Israeli army said in a statement that it had taken steps to reduce harm to civilians before the synagogue hit, which the army said was used by Hamas militants to plan the attacks.

The hospital – an Anglican Church Foundation and a major medical facility – was directed by the operation, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Overnight evacuation

“It was necessary to evacuate hundreds of patients and injured people in the middle of the night, and many of them are now in the streets without medical care, which endangers their lives.”

Sunday strikes came when Hamas leaders began a new round of talks in Cairo, in an attempt to save the ceasefire agreement with Israel, as Egypt, Qatar and the United States intensified efforts to bridge the gaps between the two sides.

An attack “all night”, says the injured man

“The scene was scary, from night until now, I have not slept for a minute of fear. Throughout the night, the glass was shattered on us inside.”

The Baptist Church in Jerusalem said that the warning against the evacuation of the hospital came 20 minutes before the strike that destroyed the two -storey genetic laboratory, and caused damage to the buildings of the Pharmacy and Emergency Department and other surrounding structures.

“We call on all governments and goodwill people to intervene to stop all kinds of attacks on medical and humanitarian institutions,” the church said in a statement.
