Enzo Maresca believes that Chelsea will be “a better team” after the European League quarter -final match with Legia Warsaw on Thursday.
The Maresca team includes a 100 percent record in the competition this season and it will be preferred to win the Polish capital.
Blues hope to take the next step towards the first cup under Italian. However, the London club balances its European ambitions with a boost to secure football periods in the Champions League by securing fifth place in the Premier League.
The last, Marisca insists, the priority remains.
“The main goal is to finish the first four, the top five and play the Champions League next season,” said Maricca.
“But in particular because this club, the fans, and the institution, Chelsea as a club, must play this competition.
“We were there throughout the season, and we hope we will be there in the end.”

While Chelsea is expected to return from a victorious Poland, their manager believes that the experience will only benefit from his young team.
“We cannot allow external things to change the way we think or change.”
As a player, I played in four or five different teams where you can play a derby.
I said that we need to try this type of game, this type of moment, and this is definitely after tomorrow’s game, we will be a better team because we need this.
“We are very young, but at the same moment we need to improve this type of game.”
Marcica, who confirmed defender Wesley Fovana, will be outside the rest of the season after undergoing surgery in the knee strings, also addressed his somewhat controversial decision with the comfort of Cole Palmer and Nicholas Jackson on their Premier League way against Berostford on Sunday.
“Perhaps from the outside, you are wrongly receiving the reason why Cole and Nico are not playing. They didn’t play, not because we want to rest them for this day.
“They did not play because there is a game plan, because Berostford had 24 hours more than us, because some players were tired.”
