India has confirmed a large agreement from the government to the government with France to buy 26 Rafale naval fighters, a deal worth more than 63,000 rupees. The Security Committee of the Council of Ministers, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, agreed to the deal, which is expected to be officially implemented soon.

Defense sources told India Today on Wednesday that these purchases include 22 variables and four dual -seat variables, complete with fleet maintenance, logistical support, employee training packages, as well as original manufacturing components under display obligations.

RAFALE marine aircraft aims to deploy original aircraft carriers in India and will significantly enhance marine air energy at sea. Rafale Marine, a carrier -based version of the Rafale Fighter combat fighter, is famous for the advanced electronic advertisements, weapons and operational diversity systems.

The delivery operations of the fighter aircraft in Rafeel are expected to start in about four years, as the navy is expected to obtain the first batch by late 2029, and the full fleet is likely to be recruited by 2031. The sources said that these aircraft will replace the Mig-29K fleet of aging.

This strategic acquisition is treated through the international government path, ensuring the timelines for expedited delivery and maintenance support from the French manufacturer Dassault Aviation. Rafale M is designed for carrier-based missions, which include reinforced landing equipment, lost hooks, and a strengthened structure plane to carry out short bids but was arrested (Stobar)-a technique used to launch and restore aircraft on marine transport companies. As the Indian maritime update continues, this acquisition is in line with its long -term strategic targets.

In addition to the Rafale -M deal, India is scheduled to enhance its underwater combat capabilities by building three additional submarines of the Sorbinan tumor category under the 75 project. These submarines will be built in partnership with Mazagon Dock Shipbuels Limited and France’s Naval Group. Meanwhile, other major marine purchasing projects are advancing as expected, highlighting India on enhancing its marine defense capabilities.
