Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Rinku Singh said that he is not distracted by the ongoing discussions about leading the team in the upcoming IPL 2025 tournament. Rinku Singh said his main goal is to help Uttar Pradesh win the title in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Since their last win in 2015-16.

“I have tried offspin bowling as well in the UPT20 league. Cricket nowadays requires a complete package – a cricketer who can bat, bowl and field. Now I am focusing on bowling as well. As Uttar Pradesh captain, I have a bigger role,” Rinku said. “To play it, I’m ready for it.”
“I wasn’t even thinking about being part of Team India when I scored five consecutive fours in the Indian Premier League last year. That turned out to be the biggest game changer of my life.
