Two senior former football officials, Sepp Blatter from FIFA and Michelle Platini from the European Football Association, were acquitted on Tuesday for fraud and mismanagement of two million dollars of FIFA funds by a Swiss court. This is the second time that the husband has been acquitted of the crimes that general prosecutors say in 2011.
