Judges turn Han Duck-Soo in the latest development in Saga, which was started by Yoon Suk-Yeol.
The Constitutional Court in South Korea has removed Prime Minister Han Daco as a prosecutor, the last development in the winding political epic that was launched by President Yun Suk Yol.
The Constitutional Court in Korea ruled that Han’s dismissal should be refused in a 7-1 vote on Monday, when he recovered to the highest position in the country, while the eight judges are considered separately from the fate of Yun, who was suspended from his position after they were briefly imposed on combat law on December 3.
Five court judges found that there were not enough reasons for Han’s dismissal, 75, although the removal proposal was valid.
Two judges spent that the proposal to hold the legislative body lack legitimacy from the beginning, as it was supported only by 192 out of 300 legislators, instead of the majority of two -thirds.
After appointing the prosecutor after the removal of Yun on December 14, Han was himself suspended from his duties less than two weeks after he refused to appoint three other judges in the Constitutional Court.
In a televised speech after the ruling, Han expressed his gratitude to the court on its “wise decision” and pledged to focus on moving in the geopolitical challenges facing his country.
“I think that all citizens speak clearly against the extremely polarized political field. I think there is no place to divide now. Our country’s priority is to move forward,” Han said.
The decision comes because the Constitutional Court has not yet ruled regarding the confirmation of Yun’s isolation or restoring his presidential powers.
The court has been circulating the fate of Yun since mid -December, and it is expected to reach a large scale within a few days.
At least six eight judges must support Yun’s isolation to remove it permanently from his position.
If Yun is stripped of the presidency, elections should be held to choose behind within 60 days.
Yun faces criminal charges, including the rebellion, with regard to his decree in the short -term fighting law.
He faces a maximum penalty for life or death penalty if convicted.
