“We are deeply saddened to announce that David Murphy, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away at his home on December 11, 2024, having struggled with health issues for the past several years. He was 66 years old.”

David Murphy He was a veteran, small business owner, and software engineer. He had recently retired from the Clark County Treasurer’s Office in Nevada, having also worked at H&R Block and IGT.

His family expressed in their statement that “David will be deeply missed by his family, friends and fans,” and requested privacy during this difficult time. They also encouraged those wishing to honor his memory to donate to the Animal Foundation in his name.
