The residents of Yangon rushed from their homes when it hit the earthquake. There were no immediate reports on injuries or deaths.

In the capital NayPyitaw, the earthquake was damaged by religious shrines, sending parts to the ground, and some homes.

To the northeast, the earthquake felt in the provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan in China and caused damage to homes and injuries in the city of Roli on the border with Myanmar, according to Chinese media reports.

Videos that one of the outlets said showed that he had received from a person in Roli, building a wreck spread in a street and a person who is hurried in a stretch towards an ambulance.

A resident of the newspaper “Al -Raqa”, a media company online, said that the shaking in Mangshi, a Chinese city about 100 km (60 miles) northeast of Rolly, was so strong that people were unable to stand.

A resident of Kunming, the regional capital of Jonah, told the newspaper that her ceiling lamp swings violently and that shaking lasted more than 10 seconds.

The Ministry of Disaster Prevention in Thailand said the earthquake felt almost all regions of the country.
