Several days ago, Jay-Z was named in an amended lawsuit as one of the individuals who raped a 13-year-old girl at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000, according to NBC News.

Following the rape accusation, Jay-Z issued a statement denying the allegations and accusing the victim and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, of “blackmail” to extort money from him.

Recently, he filed an application with the court asking the victim to reveal her identity rather than continue the case anonymously.

“Justice is fair,” read documents provided by the Roc Nation founder, per TMZ. “It is inconsistent with the fairness, justice, or rules governing the federal actions of Plaintiff and her attorneys to tarnish Jay-Z’s good name.”

“Make no mistake, this case is about revenge against the rare target who won’t pay,” the rapper’s filing said.

The rapper says he will expose the “fraud” to the accused’s lawyer.

In the wake of the rape allegations that made headlines, Jay-Z issued a statement denying the allegations and calling them a “blackmail attempt.”

“My attorney received an extortion attempt, called a demand letter, from an attorney named Tony Buzbee,” the Roc Nation founder wrote, referring to a letter the Texas-based attorney sent informing the rapper of the accusations.
